My Approach

In our work together, I create a personalized treatment plan tailored to your unique needs, goals, and life experiences. You’ll be seen. You’ll be heard. And most importantly you’ll be an active part of your healing journey!

My approach is to ensure that all my clients are heard, respected, honored, and are active participants in their treatment and healing.

I’ve been in practice for 15+ years and worked with a wide range of clients. Some of my specialties include: anxiety, relationship issues, life changes/challenges, and coping tools.

As a licensed therapist, I am trained in depth psychology, Cognitive behavioral therapy, and use a warm and person centered approach.

I studied Depth Psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute. I am trained in a depth oriented approach that is meant to help you gain a deeper understanding, and get to the “root cause” of your symptoms.

In addition, I am also trained and licensed in Marriage and Family Therapy and Counseling Psychology. I am trained in mindfulness techniques (CBT) to help you better understand your self and gain tools along the way to get through challenging times and manage life stressors.

My style of therapy is none judgmental, collaborative, supportive, and nurturing. I believe that one size does not fit all and many of us heal through the ingredients of a authentic “healing space”.

My Practice

In my practice, I strive to identify and treat the root cause of a presenting problem and help my clients develop healthier coping tools to manage life’s challenges.

It is often a story of each individuals personal journey in getting through some sort of difficulty to finding “one’s self.”

THE JOURNEY OF LIFE

Life is always accompanied with everyday challenges that push us to move forward in our lives and develop ourselves and our relationships.

As we move through our everyday lives, the faintest memory, time of year, or scent can send us into a moment past. This can include the death of a loved one, a lost relationship, past trauma, or a let down.

I will walk along with you in revisiting these painful experiences. Together we can honor, respect, understand, and process these experiences and facilitate healing and growth.
